Identification of an Eight-lncRNA Signature as the Prognostic lncRNA Markers in Hepatocellular Carcinoma Patients

چکیده

Long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) signature has been reputable for the predetermination of cancer prognosis. In present study, we constructed a lncRNA model to predict survival outcomes hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) patients. Using transcriptome data from TCGA HCC samples, identified that NEAT1 and MALAT1 were highly expressed in other tumor subtypes compared adjacent normal tissues. Based on LASSO Cox regression model, an eight-lncRNA significantly correlated with overall disease-free training group. The prognostic value this was validated using test Further analysis suggested associated clinicopathological parameters such as vascular invasion, pathological stage, grade. Integrated functional showed these eight-lncRNAs involved cell cycle, metabolic process, immune response. conclusion, applicable is robust reliable prognosis HCC. This may provide efficient clinical prediction patients, further study required uncover function lncRNAs better.

A practical prognostic lncRNA signature for lung squamous cell carcinoma

Background: This study aimed to develop and assess a practical prognostic lncRNA signature for squamous cell carcinoma of the lung (LUSC). Methods: RNA expression profile and clinical data from 388 LUSC patients were accessed and download from the Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) database. Differential lncRNA expression was compared and analyzed between normal tissue and tumor samples. By univariate ...

LncRNA-SVUGP2 suppresses progression of hepatocellular carcinoma

Numerous studies indicate that long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) are dysregulated in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and might serve as potential diagnostic biomarkers and therapeutic targets of HCC. Therefore, it is interesting to globally identify the lncRNAs altered in HCC. In our study, we used microarray to profile the levels of lncRNAs and mRNAs in three pairs of HCC and their adjacent noncanc...

Prognostic molecular markers in hepatocellular carcinoma (Review article

Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the 5th commonest malignancy worldwide and is the third most common cause of cancer-related death. The prevalence is different in the world. The ability to predict patients at higher risk of recurrence and with a poor prognosis would help to guide surgical and chemotherapeutic treatment according to individual risk. As understanding of hepatocarcinogenesi...

LncRNA profile study reveals a three-lncRNA signature associated with the survival of patients with oesophageal squamous cell carcinoma

BACKGROUND Oesophageal cancer is one of the most deadly forms of cancer worldwide. Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) are often found to have important regulatory roles. OBJECTIVE To assess the lncRNA expression profile of oesophageal squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) and identify prognosis-related lncRNAs. METHOD LncRNA expression profiles were studied by microarray in paired tumour and normal ti...

LncRNA profile study reveals four-lncRNA signature associated with the prognosis of patients with anaplastic gliomas

Anaplastic glioma is Grade III and the median overall survival is about 37.6 months. However, there are still other factors that affect the prognosis for anaplastic glioma patients due to variable overall survival. So we screened four-lncRNA signature (AGAP2-AS1, TPT1-AS1, LINC01198 and MIR155HG) from the lncRNA expression profile from the GSE16011, CGGA and REMBRANDT datasets. The patients in ...
